Anybody can attend the course, but to apply for the PMI Schedule Management Professional (PMI-SMP)® Certification, PMI® requires applicants to fulfill one of the following educational and professional experience requirements:

• Hold a secondary degree (high school diploma, associate’s degree, or the global equivalent), 40 months of project schedule management experience within the last 5 years, and 40 hours of project risk management education; or
• Possess a four-year degree (bachelor’s or higher degree, or its global equivalent), 24 months of project risk management experience within the last 5 years, and 30 hours of project risk management education.

The PMI Scheduling Professional (PMI-SP) certification training course provides comprehensive knowledge and skills on project scheduling management, including the roles of a project manager, tools and techniques, work breakdown structure, resource availability, budget schedule, and monitoring. It enhances proficiency in project schedule management for successful project outcomes.

• Role of a scheduling management professional
• Schedule strategy
• Scheduling planning and development
• Schedule monitoring and control
• Schedule closeout
• Stakeholder communications management

This course is intended for individuals who possess an active PMP certification, extensive scheduling experience and are seeking the PMI-SP certification.

Students can get PMI-SP® certified by following the below processes:

Step 1: Visit www.pmi.org after completing the training
Step 2: Register for PMI-SP exam
Step 3: Submit payment for PMI-SP credential
Step 4: Submit audit materials and supporting documents within 90 days
Step 5: Take the exam at a Prometric Testing Center and get certified

The exam is not included in this course.

Students that successfully complete this training may go on and apply for certification with PMI.
