Barbeques Galore is Australia’s leader in Barbeques with over 45 years of heritage. Today, with more than 90 stores throughout the country, Barbeques Galore not only leads the market in Barbeque retailing, but also specialises in Outdoor Furniture and Heating!

Highlights / Outcomes

• System configuration and roll-out of a HRIS which brings together 6 core but previously independent systems into one system including contract management, recruitment and onboarding, learning and development and payroll.
• Design of a competency framework to use for L&D which looks to harness & build on BBQ already impressive record of developing internal talent.

Certitude’s Role

Certitudes was asked to partner with the People & Culture team to configure and implement a HRIS across all regions and staff. This included system consultation, system design, workflow creation and testing, system configuration, change management, implementation, project management and coaching.

Certitude through this engagement built on the already sound framework for developing internal talent and building career paths within Barbeques Galore. This included coaching the People & Culture team as well as drafting a company-wide capability framework.

Certitude worked closely with the People & Culture team as well as the wider support functions and provided advice and guidance as well as project management & assurance.
