CASG is an organisation within the Department of Defence that is responsible for the acquisition and support of almost all for the Australian Defence Force’s (ADF) equipment, systems and assets. With over 7000 staff, the group is considered the largest project management organisation in Australia.

CASG’s projects are amongst some of the largest and most technologically advanced in Australia. The ADF is often at the forefront of acquiring and implementing new technologies and systems.

Highlights / Outcomes
  • Worked to introduce first of a kind systems and technologies to the RAN
  • Embedded staff within Defence to assist in full integration of the project team
  • Lead project controls reviews of the delivery partner’s program
  • Worked horizontally across Defence to plan out the implementation of these new capabilities.

 

Certitude’s Role

Certitude’s team were engaged to assist CASG in managing a project to deliver and implement state of the art Autonomous Underwater Vessells (AUVs) and Unmanned Surface Vessells (USVs). The team were responsible for the generation and management of the Integrated Master Schedule (IMS) which was used as the central point of reference to guide and direct the project activities.
