Participants must successfully complete the AgilePM Foundation Exam prior to attempting the AgilePM Practitioner Exam.

The Foundation Course will enable students to:

• Understand the underpinning philosophy and principles of Agile;
• Understand the lifecycle of an Agile project, including alternative configurations;
• Understand the products produced during an Agile project and the purpose of these;
• Understand the techniques used and their benefits and limitations;
• Understand the roles and responsibilities within an Agile project; and
• Be fully prepared to undertake the Foundation exam.

The Practitioner Course will enable students to:

• To apply a variety of agile practices to a project, for example, workshops, the MoSCoW technique to define project priorities, iterative development and modeling;
• To test, estimate and evaluate profit delivery in an Agile project;
• Gain a detailed knowledge of the facilitation and support mechanisms within an Agile project;
• Gain a detailed knowledge of the agile approach to manage and prioritise requirements; and
• Be fully prepared to undertake the Practitioner exam.

The AgilePM Foundation course will cover:

• The Philosophy and Principles of Agile Project Management;
• The Lifecycle and Products;
• Team structures;
• Roles and Responsibilities;
• Communication;
• MoSCoW and Timeboxing;
• Lifecycle Configuration;
• Estimation and Measurement;
• Quality and Maintainability;
• Planning, Control and Risk; and
• Preparation for the Foundation Examination.

The Practitioner course helps you to integrate the concepts presented in the Foundation course. Students will work through a range of exercises and case studies in order to broaden & deepen their understanding of Agile Project Management and to prepare for the exam.

Foundation:

• Multiple choice format
• 50 questions per paper
• 25 marks required to pass (out of 50 available) – 50%
• 40 minutes duration

Practitioner:

• Objective testing.
• 60 questions
• 30 marks required to pass (out of 60 available) – 50%
• Duration 2 hours.
• Open book (only the official AgilePM manual is allowed).
