P3O is a set of principles, processes and techniques. It facilitates effective portfolio, programme, and project management through enablement, challenge and support structures. P3O bridges the gap between strategy/policymakers and the project delivery arm of the organisation. Implementing P3O can greatly increase the project management effectiveness of the organisation.
